As garifuna’s we make a priceless contribution to the world. It would be great for our young people to realize that. I think it would affect the way they make decisions.

Yes i think it would be helpful for youth to realize or have better awareness of Garinagu contribution to the world. When you do, odds are you feel more rooted and connected to the world. Trick is getting the information out there so that people can learn. I hope that BEING GARIFUNA represents a small part of that re-programming effort.

Thank you so much for writing DiOXI.

Even though I was BORN in Corozal Honduras, of 100% Garifuna parents and lineage ; everytime our music, language and history is discussed, or I see an informative clip on our people….I still remain in awe…

Isn’t it amazing RUBEN GUITY? To a degree that demonstrates the depth of Garifuna Culture. Upon doing investigation, there’s a well of information to uncover–provided you do the digging.

Thanks for writing about ther UNESCO Proclamation on Garifuna Culture.
